Meanwhile, private school managements will remain closed on January 25 in the view of the bandh. The association managements of primary and secondary schools in Karnataka has sent an advisory that schools should remain closed in the view of safety and security.
The association has stated that the managements must conduct full day classes on Saturday to complete their syllabus as the exams are approaching.
The Department of Primary and Secondary Education has, however, not declared an official holiday and said that the Deputy Commissioners can take a call based on the situation in the districts.
