For Howard-bound service from these stations, riders were being told to take a 95th-bound train to Sheridan, Wilson or Belmont, then transfer to a Howard-bound train.
For Howard-bound service to the bypassed stations, riders were advised to ride to Sheridan, Wilson or Howard and then take a 95th-bound train back to their destination.
Bus shuttles were being made available in the affected area, the CTA said.
